While I don’t have the volume of guides as other sites, I hope mine are of good quality and are a decent teaching tool, giving you the confidence to go away and start using Docker independently.

A little about me:
I am a tech enthusiast and being born in the early 80s I have grown up through a ton of innovation and change. I am always tinkering and love trying out new stuff.
This site is a way of documenting specific parts of my hobbies and while it is very Synology focused I am likely to start branching out to other post types and guides as my hardware and interests change.
My hardware setup
I have been using Synology hardware since my 209J and owned various models up to my final box the 1821+ which was a solid performer.
As someone who loves to play around with hardware I built a new Unraid server earlier in 2025 as I outgrew my Synology box and wanted more freedom to use my own hardware.
So despite me no longer owning Synology hardware I continue to maintain the guides using XPEnology which is a great project.
